My first guess would be that your left arrow key or "a" key got stuck down a bit, causing movement to push you to the left. If the problem is continuing through a restart, I would suspect that the issue isn't directly in the game itself, as none of the movement information is saved through the save game.

I played for a bit and it was fun. I'm not sure what happened but my left movement got stuck and wasn't fixed with a restart of the game.
